[prMac.com] Fremont, California - Punflay announced that Rafter HD and Rafter on the iPhone will be going free on Sunday, the coming week, Aug 22nd, for the whole day. This is to commemorate the tremendous success of Rafter on both the iPad and the iPhone, and also to mark the one year anniversary of Punflay. Punflay turned a year old a few days back and this was one of the best ways to offer our prized app for free. Rafter is likely to go free a few hours before Sunday ticks in for people in the US and will be free for the entire day.
Punflay is a year old now and it aspires to be a reservoir of exciting and value driven apps and games. Punflay advocates developing creative, ingenious and value driven apps for kids and grownups. It aims to repeat and even supersede the success and growth it saw in the last year, and Rafter has been a big chunk of its success.
Punflay is also partnering up with New York based iPhoneinsanity (Twitter @iphoneinsanity) for a giveaway to have more people try out Rafter and comment on the appstore. For those, who have not come across Rafter, Rafter is an uber cool physics puzzle featuring blocks and spheres which have to be dropped with precision to strike a mine.
Rafter is priced at $1.99 for the iPad and 99 cents for the iPhone. It was featured by Apple under "New and Noteworthy" and "What we are playing" and scorched the app store for weeks in Top 20 - US, UK, Canada and many more countries.
Punflay is a gaming outfit which belongs to an international digital learning company by the name Emantras. Was founded in 2009 with the 1st iphone app being Adams Trouble Lite.
