[prMac.com] Cologne, Germany - Christian Gross has released Spinballs 1.0 for iPhone and iPod touch. Spinballs is an original puzzle game introducing a unique gameplay. It is priced at $1.99 / £1.19 / Euro 1.59. The release of the iPad version is pending. Spinballs introduces a unique gameplay where the player has to rotate seven discs, each of them containing six balls of different colors, so that as many as possible balls of the same color make up a chain that can be cleared.
Each cleared chain recharges the continuously discharging time bar and gives an amount of points depending on the length of the chain. Four helping specials can be charged by clearing chains next to them. Tapping a fully loaded special triggers its effect that can clear the whole playground or freeze the time bar or sort all balls on the playground regarding their color or double points for a period of time. The higher the level the less time there is available and the more the player has to think in advance and use the specials wisely in order to increase his chances to reach the next level.
