Deep Prose Releases Booxter 2.0.8 - Improves Searching, Importing & More

[] Centreville, Virginia - Deep Prose Software announced today the immediate availability of Booxter 2.0.8 for Mac OS X. With Booxter users can create multiple libraries and smart lists to organize books, music, movies and comic books the way they want. Booxter supports both handheld and wireless barcode scanners and iSight video cameras to quickly add large numbers of items to a collection. Libraries can be exported for viewing on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPod classic. Booxter is easy to use, fun, and has many very powerful features.

Version 2.0.8 allows comic book series to be imported all at one time, which increases importing speed dramatically. New music and movie searches have been added for (NL), (IT) and (IT). Sorting by volume number now sorts both Roman and Arabic numerals in proper numerical order. A number of user interface improvements have also been made.

Booxter is localized in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and Japanese.

The Deep Prose web store sells USB and Bluetooth barcode scanners which complement Booxter and provide a complete integrated solution for collectors.

Booxter requires Mac OS 10.4 or Mac OS 10.5. The free version has a limit of 30 items for each library. The full version costs $49.99 USD.
