[prMac.com] Gilbert, Arizona - Brain Counts released the first in a line of visual learning math applications aimed at kids. Math Ace is an iPhone application that parents can download and use a visual learning tool to help kids understand addition and subtraction's basic concepts.
Math Ace offers increasing levels of difficulty as well as easily adjusted settings so parents can focus the application on their child's trouble areas. The application successfully incorporates colors and sounds into the educational games to attract the attention of the child. The visual representations of the math equations and multiple choice answers provide a safe environment for children to grasp concepts that many have trouble visualizing in the traditional classroom and educational settings.
Henry Ton of Brain Counts said, "My son had a really hard time getting a hold of the basic math concepts. I guess it was natural for me to incorporate my son's educational needs into my work history and the result was a program that is far more in demand and usable than I imagined. It's still exciting to see emails come through telling me what a huge benefit the application was for other kids."
In addition to the basic design aimed at visual learners and the presentation of the math facts in game format, Math Ace also offers learners the additional incentive of a digital rewards program. Correct answers earn pets: dogs, ducks, cats, etc. The more correct answers the more pets learners collect to play with between learning sessions.
