Moonswing's Bet Settler and Wedding Speechstake Apps - Free This Weekend

in iAnnouncements (E)

[] Athlone, Ireland - Moonswing is pleased to announce that the two Apps it has released to date will be available for free from the iTunes App Store this weekend - the 4th and 5th of December.

The company's betting calculator "Bet Settler" has proved very popular since its launch in April 2010, reaching Number 15 in the Paid Sports App category in the UK and Number 2 in the same category in Ireland. Shortly after its release Bet Settler was named 'App of the Week' on the website of Business Traveller - the world's leading magazine for the frequent business traveller. The current version of Bet Settler (v1.4) was released in September and added a range of new bets that can be settled, including Round Robins and Flag bets.

Moonswing's second app "Wedding Speechstake" was released last month, and brings the popular tradition of timing the speeches at a wedding to the iPhone. Wedding Speechstake is great fun for a table of friends at a wedding reception and also a wonderful conversation starter and ice breaker at a table where guests might not know each other.

"We've decided to give Bet Settler and Wedding Speechstake away for free this weekend, as it's a year since we first started to develop Apps for the iPhone and we think this is a nice way to mark the progress we've made to date," explains Moonswing's founder Tom Tierney. "Also, given Ireland's well documented financial woes, it certainly seems like a good time to give people something for free."

Pricing and Availability:
Bet Settler and Wedding Speechstake are available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Sports and Entertainment categories respectively. They will be available for free only on the 4th and 5th of December, 2010.
