[prMac.com] Boston, Massachusetts - Curious Marie, developer of apps for women, has announced the release of Tryst, an app for couples to communicate their intimate desires via beautifully designed postcards. Couples can entice each other by sending photo-rich cards enclosed in a wax sealed envelope - an elegant and discreet notion of an exciting rendezvous to come.
"In this age of social media distractions, having time for intimacy in relationships is more important than ever," says Curious Marie founder Lisa McKenna. "I thought, 'What's an exciting way to suggest an intimate adventure that's more sophisticated than a text message?' Tryst is just that. When you receive that beautiful wax sealed envelope in your email, you can't wait to see what your partner has in store for you."
Tryst's antique desk interface evokes the feeling one is personally composing a note for their lover. The UI is filled with luxurious photographic postcards. Users swipe and select cards from several categories to custom design their Tryst. The "Set the Stage" category suggests where they'd like their Tryst to happen. Other categories like "Slightly Improper" and "Wildly Reckless" contain cards that cater to a wide variety of sensual moods. Tap on a postcard's photo to flip it and reveal suggestive text. A quick tap of the ( ) symbol adds a postcard to the Current Tryst, which can then be sent to their partner, who also has Tryst installed on their device. To ensure complete privacy Tryst has a password protection feature.
Features that Tryst users enjoy:
* Elegant interface and simple to use
* Sophisticated and captivating photography
* Privacy code entry before app is launched
* A wealth of postcards to choose from
* Ability to select cards that match their mood
* Witty descriptions on the back of each postcard
* New ideas to spice up their love life
* Quick access to Twitter / Facebook / Website for comments
McKenna is certain Tryst will stand out. "Tryst appeals to a variety of users, be it someone who's a little shy asking for what she wants or someone who wants to surprise his partner with a memorable evening. It's tasteful, the UI is beautiful and it has substance. There's nothing quite like Tryst on the App Store."
