Create Quicktime Movies Of The Web With iPhone Webcorder 1.3

in Utilities (E)

[] Littleton, Colorado - Independent software developer Rick Duffy today is pleased to announce Webcorder 1.3 for iPhone and iPod touch. Sharing web site links or printing off web pages has been common practice since there have been web browsers. Now with Webcorder, users can send others more than just a picture or a link: they can create a Quicktime movie of an entire web browsing session. While Webcorder does not capture audio or streaming video, it will record everything the user does and sees on the screen, including scrolling, following links, and so on, to a Quicktime movie.

Webcorder is perfect for creating a movie to use for marketing a web site, or to create web site tutorials. Even more, we have all experienced those web locations where copying the link is not sufficient to get back there. This is especially true in some online stores. With Webcorder, the user does not have to rely on a link when communicating a web location to another: they can now send a movie showing exactly how to navigate there.

Example Uses:
* Create demos of your web site for marketing uses
* Create web site tutorials
* Save, or send to a friend, a movie of how you found something on the internet, rather than just relying a link
* Help a user who is experiencing some kind of web issue, by allowing them to send a movie of their problem
* Create movies to save a copy of a web session where you registered for something, created a login, choose a password, and so on

* Generate Quicktime movies up to fifteen minutes in length
* Create screen snapshots
* Create movies and pictures in either portrait or landscape orientation
* Mail movies, copy them to the Camera Roll or Saved folder in the Photo app, or sync them directly to iTunes

Device Requirements:
* Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch (3rd and 4th Gen)
* Requires iOS 4.1 or later
* 0.3 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Webcorder 1.3 is only $0.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Utilities category.
