[prMac.com] Lisbon, Portugal - SkyGroceries is a simple yet powerful grocery list application for iPhone. It provides all the desired features for going grocery shopping efficiently (large collection of products, autosuggest search, multiple shopping lists, list sorting by aisle or manually), but more important, it leaves out those unnecessary features that clutter other grocery list applications.
The application look and feel follows the iOS design, which makes it familiar to all iPhone and iPod touch users. On top of that much attention was given to small details, being the result a consistent and appealing look.
Another main feature of SkyGroceries is its usability. Particular attention was given to the shopping list screen since random taps can occur when the user goes shopping. It is only possible to mark an item as bought by tapping on the checkbox (instead of the whole row) and there is also a confirmation message (optional). The user can also opt to disable the screen auto-lock temporarily while shopping. Efficient shopping list creation, another important aspect, is achieved by features like the favorite list and the search with autosuggest.
