Zen-like Approach to Voice Notes from iOS Developer Spielhaus

December 19, 2010 in Utilities (E)

[prMac.com] Wiesbaden, Germany - Indie iPhone developer Spielhaus (creator of the unique productivity app Today Todo) today is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the next incarnation of the Today suite as a voice memo iOS application. Designed with the strict policy of "fewest taps possible" in mind, Today Voice Notes uses the built-in tilt sensor of the device to start recording.

The application's appearance radiates positivity and tranquility through the display of a sunny landscape that holds the user's voice notes. The same landscape is presented in another variation (night scene) for the list of past notes. The user interacts with the background graphics, especially the sun, to navigate through the app. Sliding the sun to switch views is both unique and easy to grasp. Voice notes can be enriched with text and images. The images can be snapped with the built-in cam or chosen from the camera roll. Apart from the interesting interface, the app provides advanced features like the built-in web server. This allows downloading the recordings as well as the attached images via wifi from a browser on the users computer.

* Start recording by simply turning the device upside-down or by tapping a button
* Continue recording even if the device is locked or the app is closed
* Attach images (from camera or library) to notes
* Share voice notes via email - including images
* Download your audio files from a browser on your computer with the built-in web server via wifi
* Custom built for iOS 4 and Retina Display

Device Requirements:
* iPhone or iPod touch
* iPod touch with built-in or external microphone
* Requires iOS 4.0 or later
* 3.9 MB
