Action Lists GTD Task Manager Now Available on the iPad

[] Fishers, Indiana - Daze End Software today is pleased to announce a new version of their task manager, Action Lists, for the iPad. Action Lists has long been a favorite tool on the iPhone among those who follow the popular Getting Things Done (GTD) system of personal productivity. Now, Action Lists for iPad brings those same GTD-specific features to the iPad in a larger format that better suits that device. Action Lists for iPad also gives users additional flexibility in how they access their tasks, since it can synchronize its data with the web or with an iPhone running Action Lists.

"Action Lists has been really popular on the iPhone," said Charles Perry, owner of Daze End Software, "and since the iPad was released, we've received lots of requests for an iPad version so that people could use the larger format of the iPad to review tasks and plan for the future. With the release of Action Lists for iPad, we're confident that we offer one of the best solutions for implementing the Getting Things Done methodology on iOS devices."

One of the things that sets Action Lists for iPad apart from its competitors, according to Perry, is its ability to synchronize both "to the cloud" and with other iOS devices. Data in Action Lists can be synchronized over-the-air with the popular (and free) Toodledo web service, as well as with Action Lists running on an iPhone or iPod touch.

Action Lists for iPad has all the features that one would expect in a task manager such as searchable task lists, and subproject support, but Action Lists also includes GTD-specific features not seen in other task managers for the iPad, according to Perry. "Users can set up a 'tickler file' in Action Lists so that future tasks remain hidden until a specified start date. Then, when the start date is reached, they appear in your inbox ready for processing." Action Lists also offers the ability to email tasks to others from within the app, and a unique feature that creates a list of tasks from the contents of the iPad's clipboard.

Device Requirements:
* Compatible with iPad
* Requires iOS 3.2 or later
* 1.8 MB

Pricing and Availability:
Action Lists 3.0 for iPad is available to be purchased through the App Store at a price of $19.99 USD. For those that would prefer to "try before you buy," a limited version called Action Lists Lite for iPad is available in the App Store for free. App Store promo codes are available for the press to download review copies of Action Lists upon request.
