[prMac.com] Richmond, California - After inspiring children in over 160 countries with their audio podcasts, The Story Home released this beautiful, simple to navigate iPad App allowing both devoted and brand new listeners to own their stunningly recorded original and classic stories. Award-winning children's production company, Purple Button Media, is delighted by the initial response the app has received.
"Apple's selection of our app is very special, especially with all the other great apps in the store," says executive producer and co-creator Sharon Rogan Scofield. "The secret of this app is what lies within it: the ancient thread of magic spun by a master storyteller."
"Children are devoted to that which captures and stretches their imaginations, we select our content with the utmost care. Choosing only the best, the ageless masterpieces that have been passed down through countless generations, or creating new original tales like the "Little Bunny", a series that delivers timeless lessons in modern tales. All of the stories, whether modern or ancient speak clearly to the ear of a child" explains author, co-creator, Alan Scofield.
"Families are moving at such a fast pace, multitasking, driving, shopping, that each moment of the day is filled with going somewhere or doing something. That's where our stories come in. Parents and children are drawn to the magic of a good story. It creates space in our busy lives", explains Sharon.
"We've re-mastered the entire collection and added sound effects to many of our classic and original children's stories presenting them in a fairy tale design with enchanting graphics " continues Alan, "our goal is to delight and inspire children's imaginations' throughout the world."
