[] San Diego, California - appsplit, a San Diego based company that launched its mobile application marketplace in January, today is pleased to announce that it has expanded its focus to include not only mobile apps but also Facebook and web apps. appsplit is already featuring some Facebook applications for sale, in addition to the mobile applications that were featured within days of launching the site.

The Split Program has been expanded as well to include app management services for Facebook and Web Apps. The Split Program was launched along side the app marketplace in January and has seen great success with the initial apps inducted into the program such as My Jeweler and DiamPrice. Both apps, My Jeweler and DiamPrice, have consistently ranked in the Top 100 iPad Business Apps since their inclusion in the appsplit Split Program.

In addition to the newly introduced Facebook and Web apps, appsplit features apps for all mobile platforms: iOS, Android, Blackberry, Palm, Windows Phone, and Symbian.
