[prMac.com] Jyvaskyla, Finland - Touch Foo today is pleased to announce an update to Soosiz HD, the iPad version of the highly rated iOS platforming game Soosiz, to version 1.3.1. The update adds Game Center functionality and support for multiple player profiles. The Game Center support includes 16 leaderboards and 23 achievements.
The player profiles allow more than one person to play on the same device, and for each person to progress at their own pace in the game. The profiles, along with the progress in the game, can also be backed up and transferred to other iOS devices by email. With the upcoming 1.3.1 update for Soosiz for iPhone, the profiles will also be compatible between Soosiz and Soosiz HD.
In Soosiz, the player assumes the role of a hero, running and jumping around different surfaces and obstacles, rescuing his friends, killing monsters and collecting coins. Since its release in October 2009, Soosiz has received glowing reviews by critics and players alike. Soosiz HD is the iPad optimized version of Soosiz and was released in April 2010 along with the release of the iPad App Store.
The game has been inspired by many classic platformers, but the traditional gameplay in Soosiz is spiced up by a changing gravity. Each platform has its own gravity, which allows the player character to run at the bottom of the platforms as well as on top of them. This allows for interesting level design and gameplay elements, which make the player to look for totally new kinds of solutions.
* Compatible with iPad
