[prMac.com] New York, New York - Today the US based animation company Mupotoon LLC announced the release of the second episode of its iPhone based animated political comedy series. The second cartoon reveals the "truth" behind Hosni Mubarak's decision to resign as the President of Egypt.
As reported earlier, on February 14 Mupotoon LLC launched its iPhone based animated political comedy series. In the first released episode the Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has put the world leaders - Vladimir Putin, Nicolas Sarkozy and Silvio Berlusconi - on the verge of mental breakdown by publicly naming the shady celebrities on the infamous off-shore tax-evaders list.
The series' second episode follows Egypt's ex-president Hosni Mubarak as he is agonizing over the decision whether to resign or hold on to power. The episode also sheds light on Barack Obama's much criticized ambiguous position during the recent public uprisings in Cairo.
"As most ordinary observers, we were perplexed and confused by the White House's reaction to the recent events in Cairo," said the series' creative director Yuriy Sak. "That's why in our second episode we laugh at Obama's fickleness as well as at Mubarak's desperate clinginess".
The cartoon is accompanied by an ironically fitting soundtrack - the legendary song Should I Stay or Should I Go by The Clash. While Hosni Mubarak seems to have already made his choice, the rhetorical question raised in the cartoon's musical theme remains highly relevant for many other countries in the region, especially for Libya.
The third episode of MuPoToon, scheduled for release early next week, will focus on the scandal surrounding the relations between Italy's Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and the underaged Moroccan teen girl, whom the notorious politician has allegedly paid for sex.
