[prMac.com] Asten, The Netherlands - RoJaSoft today is pleased announce the release of the free version of their school calendar app proSchool. The free version has the same features as the full version. proSchool is a school calendar, based on a class schedule for the iPhone. Of course this app is intended for students. Students can benefit from this app. It keeps track of all their homework, tests, grades, subjects, schedules, etc.
The unique interface makes, editing a schedule and calendar very easy. Creating a class schedule won't take more than a minute or 5. It is possible to create a one week schedule or a two week schedule. Schedule items will show grey in the calendar. For adding a homework entry users just have to tap on a schedule item and select the assignment. That's all. Users can choose from nine different assignments (E.g. final, midterm, test, homework).
It is also possible to create a homework entry, not based on a schedule item. Then users must first select the subject and than edit the rest of the data (like start and end time). Editing the calendar can be done in three ways. You can use a day view, a week view or a month view. In the day view users see the homework they have today or tomorrow or any day. You can mark an entry as completed. That way users can see what is done and what they still have to do.
The week view shows the schedule and all the homework you have in a certain week. To get the week view you have to rotate your device to landscape. The columns show the day of the week and the rows show the time. You can see your week schedule in one look.
The month view shows the current month. Assignments are shown as dots on the calendar. That way it is easy to see when you have for example an upcoming midterm. Below the calendar you can see the homework for a selected day. That works the same as the day view.
When tapping on a calendar item, proSchool will bring up the details view. Here you can see all the details of a certain homework entry. proSchool also keeps track of all the grades. It has a grade schedule, which is used when calculating averages. Users can change this schedule. Data for grades are topic, date, weight and of course grade. Grades are ordered by subject.
