[prMac.com] Charlotte, North Carolina - PaperNappkin, an upstart app development firm based in Charlotte, NC, will soon introduce a handful of new apps in March 2011! Three apps, FotoFarm, FotoFarm for iPad, and ManMeter, are currently in Apple's submission approval process. Another app, Celebrity Lookalike GOTCHA!, is being relaunched in tandem with the three. Finally, PaperNappkin's TrustBust app is available for purchase now.
TrustBust, Celebrity Lookalike GOTCHA!, ManMeter, and the two versions of FotoFarm are the first in a long line of fun, elegant, sophisticated apps designed to do one thing - make its owners rich!
PaperNappkin's founders, Michael Parra and Steve Passaly, are not intimidated by the fact that over a 300,000 apps are currently on the market. Like so many app developers before them, they plan to make millions from app sales in the ever-expanding iPhone market. And, like so many app developers before them, their forecasts are based primarily on the positive feedback from family and close friends.
When asked about the lofty ambitions, and subsequent failures, of so many app developers before them, Michael replied, "What does subsequent mean?"
Michael and Steve believe the scientific research of their app ideas (6 out of 9 family members and friends either "liked" or "really liked" the ideas) proves they will yield huge monetary benefits. "They have great app ideas," says a mutual friend. He added, "When I finally buy a mobile phone, I'll make sure it's one of them Apple doohickeys so I can own their apps."
Besides sending out tongue-in-cheek press releases, PaperNappkin actually does develop iPhone apps. And damn good ones, at that. (Granted, we are biased. Slightly.) PaperNappkin has assembled a team of top-notch programmers, designers and marketers, and places a heavy emphasis on clean, attractive layouts and easy-to-use functionality. With 20 years of software design experience, it can streamline the app production process and still create quality, appealing apps. PaperNappkin focuses primarily on creating lighthearted apps but can produce apps for any genre. Copyright (C) 2011 PaperNappkin. All Rights Reserved.
