[prMac.com] Tel Aviv, Israel - Independent software engineer Oren Meiri today is pleased to announce "eWhiteboard" app for the iPhone. This app turns any Mac/MS Windows PC with a projector into an Electronic Whiteboard. With the aid of a special marker, or LED keychain flashlight, the user controls the Mac/PC while standing in front of the projected desktop image.
This app takes a unique approach to how to use the iPhone. The iPhone is positioned stationary in the room and the interaction occurs on the projected desktop image. Using customized image processing technology, the app detects the LED light, and transmits the new location to the computer. The computer moves the mouse cursor accordingly. This technique allows the user interact directly with the computer while standing in front of the wall-projected desktop image, away from mouse and iPhone.
This app is suitable in various settings, useful to business people, sales and marketing representatives, executives, lecturers, teachers, professionals, artists, or anyone in need of presenting graphical computer output to others. Once setup, the app enables user to:
* Draw/write freehand in a drawing software, just like on a physical whiteboard
* Navigate around system files
* Drag windows
* Launch/close applications
* Switch PowerPoint slides (including drawing on slides during presentation)
* Demonstrate any application / website
* iPhone 3GS or higher
* LED keychain flashlight
* Mac/MS Win PC with projector (will work with LCD screen too)
* Mac/MS Win utility software (download free from website)
* Wifi Network
* iPhone stand (optional)
