Classical cookbooks on paper lose their lobby. More and more kitchen fans prefer the digital version. Large cooking communities have emerged on the internet in recent years. Their members collect and exchange recipes - and create in this manner a particularly extensive collection that provides recipes suitable for even the most extravagant cooking idea.
The program currently contains more than 10 categories such as "Bake", "Main Dishes", "Salads," "Sauces," "Soups", or "Starters" - just to mention a few. The recipes compiled by the community often show a photo of the finished dishes, mentions the level of difficulty and the preparation time, indicate the caloric values and reveal the author. A list of ingredients and detailed instructions for preparation are provided. New to the Mac version are the three different recipe views: "Chart", "Cover Flow" and "Gallery".
The recipes from the community are consistently updated by way of an update function, so that the collection becomes more extensive in the course of time. Particularly successful recipes are placed on a personal list of favorites, besides, they can be shared via Facebook, Twitter and E-mail with friends, who still have no Cookiza software. Anyone interested can also enter their own recipes and can then designate these as either "private" or upload them to the Internet so that they become part of the community supply.
Cookiza! also has a lot to offer on the box in the Mac version. With the menu planner one can establish the sequence of courses for specific days or simply for the entire coming week in up to four different day times. Complementing this or suitable for individual recipes, the Mac program can also create a shopping list, which can be printed or sent by mail. It ensures that important ingredients are not forgotten during shopping. A portions calculator incidentally also willingly helps to adapt the ingredient quantities directly to the respective number of guests or family members. Extensive search and filtering functions help to sift through the enormous substance faster.
New in the Mac version is the facility that enables the import of recipes from YummySoup 2.0. Import filters for more recipe collections follow.
