[prMac.com] Louisville, Kentucky - Startup mobile applications company 32 Leap LLC announces launch party on April 23rd for Rockin Ted mobile app, an interactive 3D character that performs fun and unique guitar solos controlled by a users touch.
Rockin Ted is a mobile application featuring an interactive 3D character that performs fun and unique guitar solos controlled by a users touch. Users interact with Rockin Ted on their iPhone, iPod touch or iPad by touching a series of buttons on the screen or Ted's guitar. In addition to playing rockin' guitar solos, Ted also repeats everything a user says in a fun and entertaining voice. The app also features a video recording option that allows users to create and send custom jam sessions and personal messages to friends and family via facebook, youtube, and email.
Rockin Ted 1.0 is free and will be available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Entertainment category in April. 32 Leap is owned by Louisville natives Jon Renner and Tony Fullen.
32 Leap will host a party to launch Rockin Ted on April 23rd at The Gillespie in downtown Louisville. The launch party will include a performance from Hard Rock City and The Louisville Crashers. Hard Rock City is an 80's rock tribute band made up of 32 Leap owners, Jon Renner and Tony Fullen. Hard Rock City will feature a guest appearance from David Steel, the lead guitarist of Nashville recording artist Gary Allen. The Louisville Crashers will perform after Hard Rock City to end the night.
Jon Renner, founder and CEO of 32 Leap says, "We are very excited about this app. Rockin Ted features cutting edge motion capture technology that along with our 3D animation and face melting guitar solos bring Ted to life in a very unique way. The app has already impressed some well-known Louisville personalities such as Mark Maxwell, owner of Mom's music and founding member of The Louisville Crashers. The Rockin Ted launch party is on April 23rd. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. Along with the night of music, 32 Leap will also be giving out free Rockin Ted merchandise throughout the night.
