[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Inspired by classic paper doll books, Dress The Royals 1.2 lets users kit out Kate, William, the Queen, Philip, Charles, Camilla, Harry and a corgi in an assortment of over 40 outfits (and accessories) including a kimono, diving suit, Santa outfit, full check Burberry and more. Users of the app can then share their creations with friends using Facebook and MMS.
Ana Monzon, from We Are Apps, said, "With Royal Wedding fever growing daily and endless column inches dedicated to Kate's dress, we want to create some alternative headlines: Queen wears a suit of armor, Harry shows up in his briefs and a royal cloak while Camilla wears a sari!"
"In times gone by, any irreverence to the Royals would have meant a quick beheading at the Tower of London but we wanted to do something fun to celebrate the big day. We thought we would turn the whole frenzy around Kate's dress on its head and give the UK public the chance to dress the whole family and create their own unique version of the Royal Wedding portrait. Let's hope putting Charles in drag doesn't lead to anyone's public beheading."
