CampSoftware Releases GoLaunch - Create FileMaker Go Launch Buttons

April 26, 2011 in FileMaker (E)

[] Orlando, Florida - CampSoftware today announced GoLaunch, a new solution that makes creating FileMaker Go database launch buttons on the iPhone & iPad Home Screen. GoLaunch makes opening FileMaker Go databases faster by creating iPhone & iPad database links that work like App buttons by reducing many taps and typing into a single tap.

"We use FileMaker Go every day and needed a way to open our secure databases faster. We created GoLaunch so we could tap an App icon to get to our data as fast as possible.", said Hal Gumbert with CampSoftware.

GoLaunch works by sending the information GoLaunch needs to connect you to your FileMaker Go database immediately. By sending the FileMaker Server address, database name, user name, password, and optional script name and parameters, you can create web pages in seconds that can be saved as App icons on the iPhone and iPad Home Screen.

Praise from independent FileMaker developers:
"Using GoLaunch is now allowing me to access my database much faster. Since my username and password are now stored in the App icon link, I no longer need to enter that information every time I need to access my database. Even better, I can use GoLaunch to create links for my clients!" David Burton

System Requirements:
* FileMaker Go
* PHP web server

Pricing and Availability:
GoLaunch is available now from the CampSoftware website for $14.00 (USD).
