[prMac.com] Liverpool, United Kingdom - Indie games developer The Red Thing announces iDamaged. The game features astounding looking graphics and an amazing cinematic soundtrack. This is not your average iPhone game. Everything in the game has been created with high attention to detail. Be sure to check out the gameplay footage and see for yourself what the fuzz is all about.
In iDamaged you essentially take control of a gorgeous looking battle mech and shoot your way through 6 beautifully crafted campaigns with an astonishing arsenal of weapons. Sounds simple? You be the judge and discover the depth of gameplay that went into iDamaged. Some weapons like the hammer of god inspired Ion Lasers coming from the sky require the player to swipe the finger from top to bottom to activate it and then the screen smoothly zooms into the laser while you aim by tilting the device.
The guided missiles for instance are activated by double tapping onto the gameplay area and they follow the cursor which is controlled by the tilting of the device. These are just some of the examples of the depth of gameplay in this game, each one of which could have been made as a seperate app and sold for 99 cents. The game requires that you learn how to use it in order to properly master it but it can be picked up easily by anyone. With the gorgeous graphics, awesome cinematic sound, depth of gameplay aswell as online leaderboards and achievements we believe this game will be enjoyed by all arcade game fans, young or old.
If all goes well we are looking at a June 2011 release date of the game.
