[prMac.com] Paris, France - eCOMPOSITE announces the version 3.0 of their running and training iPhone app, 321Run. This new version brings to user a refreshed experience on their running, walking and biking activities with a focus on ease of use, simplicity and customization.
321Run 3.0 brings a nicer, richer UI that is also more clear to the user. With less tools and buttons, the focus of the app is on recording, training and viewing your past runs. Graphics have all been updated to Retina Display, even maps.
* In one look, you know what your current training status is, by comparing your month to last month.
* The new history list will not let you down: find the activity, place, minimap and essential info of each run
* Find all the details of your run and review it on a new map with milestones.
* Easily find the graphs for your speed, altitude and heart rate.
The trainings have also been taken care of in this version. eCOMPOSITE kept the trainings that made 321Run one of the best apps to begin and progress: based on distance, on time, and the programs, that train you easily from one level to a better training and fitness. There are programs for beginners, intermediate runners and people who try to lose weight. You can now add your own custom trainings based on time, or based on hear rate if you have a compatible equipment. You can also easily compete against yourself by selecting a former run in your history.
321Run has been the first training app to add support for heart rate monitoring to the iPhone with the fantastic Fisica Key from Wahoo Fitness. This support has been extended to make it easier for users to know their current heart rate and use it in their trainings: audio cues are now available in percents too, still come every 10 seconds as an option, and heart rate trainings were added, where you set your self a goal in heart rate for a period of time.
"I've been pretty motivated by this new version. First of all, it allowed me to get back in shape after several injuries of my back. I also spent a lot of time making the UI better and faster. No more delays when accessing the detail of a run, and it made the whole experience of using the app more pleasant", says Cyril Godefroy, who develops the app. " I also opened the app to walking and biking, because I don't run all the time, I also enjoy a long bike ride in the mountains around where I live. The feedback from testers has been very positive and pleasant, both by judging positively the enhancements and suggesting different ways to do several things: this has helped me tremendously finishing the app in the last details".
To support the launch of the 3.0 version, Cyril Godefroy is organizing a draw, offering to win Fisica keys, training T-shirts and promo codes for the app. You can learn more about that draw and how to participate at the 321Run website.
321Run is available as a free update to former users of 321Run and is available on the App Store on your iPhone or in iTunes.
