Humble Daisy to bring lecture capture to the iPad with ProfCast Mobile

[] Ann Arbor, Michigan - Humble Daisy, Inc has launched a new crowd-funding initiative to support the creation of an innovative presentation tool for the iPad. If the project's goal is reached, ProfCast Mobile for the iOS will be developed for release in Fall 2011. ProfCast Mobile is an app for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch that will allow users to create, deliver, and record presentations from their iOS device. The company is giving a copy of ProfCast Mobile to each contributor of $10 or more.

ProfCast Mobile, a full featured presentation creation, delivery and recording iOS app, was recently launched on Kickstarter to help it's developers Humble Daisy, Inc gain support for the project. Kickstarter has helped projects such as Tik Tok Luna Tik Watch Kits, Diaspora, PadPivot, and most recently, Tapose gain immense popularity and financial support, and Humble Daisy hopes ProfCast Mobile will follow suit.

"In 2006 we launched ProfCast, which was a revolutionary lecture capture tool that normal people could actually use." explains Dave Chmura, co-founder of Humble Daisy. "Now we want to bring the power of simple presentation recording to the iOS."

ProfCast Mobile is a full featured presentation creation, delivery and recording suite. Users can create presentations adding text, images, and transitions. When they are ready to deliver their presentation, they can simply plug their device into a VGA or Digital AV adapter and the presentation will be displayed on the external display. The best part is, ProfCast Mobile records the presenter as they give their presentation. The result will be a movie with the slides and audio in sync. Users can then share the recordings via email, download to their computer or post them on YouTube all from their iOS device.

"People will be able to use ProfCast Mobile in a number of ways." explains Chmura. "They can create and deliver their presentations in front of an audience or use the recording functionality to rehearse and improve their delivery. The world is going mobile, and we think there is a HUGE need for a product like this. We are really excited about it!"

Every pledge of $10 or more earns the investor a free copy of the app when it is eventually released. Other incentives include t-shirts, iPad VGA adapters and iPads. Two contributors will be immortalized within the app by having a theme named after them. The project runs through June 19th, 2011. Development on the ProfCast Mobile app is currently in the alpha stage. Humble Daisy plans to have the initial release of the app ready by early fall.
