[prMac.com] Vilnius, Lithuania - Jumsoft, developer of high-quality applications for Mac OS X and iOS, has completely overhauled one of its most popular products, the finance and budgeting app Money for iPhone. Version 2.0 of Money for iPhone features a redesigned interface, improved usability, management of accounts, scheduled transactions, and budgets, as well as the ability to synchronize with the desktop version of Money 4.
Money was first brought out in 2003 and has gained wide popularity among small businesses and home users of Mac since. Fans of Money appreciate the synthesis of its high usability and effectiveness for finance management. Money allows users to track transactions to and from their wallets and bank accounts; make budget plans and monitor the actual outcome; and manage their bills. With Money for iPhone, users are able to access all of these features on the go.
"Our team tried to create an easy-to-use app and ended up with an app that became a staple on our own personal iPhones. It somehow turns expense tracking into a rather fun exercise," Algirdas Unguvaitis, the general manager of Jumsoft, says. "We really hope our users will be happy with improvements we made."
Money for iPhone has most of the features that helped Money to achieve its current popularity. Users are able to create different types of accounts for cash, bank accounts, credit cards, and assets to keep track of transactions to, from, and among them. The Budgets section helps users to follow a pre-planned budget, while the Scheduler feature reminds of amounts due to be paid. Users are also able to synchronize the financial data in Money 4 on their Mac computers with Money for iPhone 2.0. All of the features are wrapped in a fully redesigned, remarkably stylish interface.
Money for iPhone can be downloaded from the App Store. After downloading the program, it will be automatically installed on users' iPhone. Money 4 Beta is available free of charge at Jumsoft's website.
