They have had 19 million downloads since starting, their game Paper Glider was Apple's 10 billionth download and Pocket Gamer ranked them as the UK's number 1 indie game developer in the world. Plus they've just had their seventh UK number one game. All of this, in just one year.
Oli Christie, the CEO and founder of Neon Play is thrilled to have reached another exciting landmark.

Neon Play's first game Flick Football was a fantastic global success, reaching the Top 10 charts on the App Store worldwide. Along with the game's chart topping free version, the title has currently over 3.5 million downloads. It was also the second highest selling iPad app of 2010.
Perhaps Neon Play are best known for Paper Glider, an addictive, casual game that soared to the top of the App Store charts in January 2011. This was perfect timing as Paper Glider also earned its place in history by becoming Apple's 10 billionth download.
This success has spurred further titles under the Paper Glider franchise, these games have also shot to the summit of the App Store's games chart. Paper Glider Bomber, Paper Glider Para Drop and Paper Glider Crazy Copter have all been number one or two in the Free Apps chart worldwide.
Neon Play has attracted much attention due to the unlikely location of the business, Cirencester, a quite market town near Oxford in the United Kingdom. The company won its first award last month at the Cirencester Business Awards. They were decorated with "Innovation of the Year' as well as the main award, "Cirencester's Best Business."
Neon Play are also finalists for the Nectar Start-Up Business Awards. The winner will be chosen from judging panel which features Karren Brady from the hit BBC television show, The Apprentice.
Neon Play is now preparing to dip their to into the world of social games with a big launch planned for late summer 2011. Plus, they are launching games onto Android and Nokia Stores, also looking to Windows and BlackBerry in the future.
