[prMac.com] Saint-Petersburg, Russian Federation - LongitudeGames today is pleased to introduce GeoPoly 1.0 free for iOS, their new Entertainment and Social Networking game that allows players to own real properties as part of gameplay in their virtual real estate game. Requiring a Facebook connection, players buy real stores, cafes, shopping centers, and anything else nearby, even the White House. Using street-level Google Maps, players collect rents, upgrade buildings, earn points, and become the richest real estate investor in their local area. Nine different in-app purchases are available to expand and enhance gameplay.
Besides meeting new friends and sharing accomplishments with old ones, the main goal is to buy properties in close proximity to your actual location and collect rent from those properties. All properties are real and displayed on Google Maps. Players may upgrade their buildings to double rents received, buy and sell properties, and grow in wealth. Actually checking in at any property allows the player to become a Mayor and receive increased rents. Games are ongoing throughout cities in the US, and players may compare their achievements and wealth with others.
