[prMac.com] Byron Bay, Australia - Announcing that.JamSpeak Pty Ltd., the developers of JamSpeak, has released an industry-changing product for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. This is a new launch that helps musicians direct group members via a universal music sign language. JamSpeak offers illustrative images, information about each sign and a timed game section for honing skills. The app is currently only available exclusively for iPhone users but will soon be developed for Android and be released in book form and sold on Amazon. For a limited time, JamSpeak is being offered free.
JamSpeak is a new application with the potential to affect changes in the music industry. The program is a newly developed method of silent communication that provides musicians a means of directing other group members while, at the same time, playing an instrument.
Typically, when there is something that needs changing in a song, the person directing must stop to issue instructions, yell above the playing or, worst case, no one even notices that someone is trying to communicate an instruction.
The universal language of JamSpeak eliminates those types of problems and keeps a group or band performance flowing smoothly, saving time, making them more productive and smoother sounding. When used properly, a band can perform with greater professional polish, thanks to the efficient direction that sign language allows.
Users can learn JamSpeak from the application's illustrative flashcard images. With one hand, the signs can be flipped through then tapped for a description or information. There is also the option to view the signs as a slideshow, letting the app progressively move the flashcards in a stream.
Everything new takes practice, so JamSpeak supplies a fast-paced game section for that purpose. Each of the five levels offers ten multiple choice questions to be answered within ten seconds. It's a fun way to sharpen and perfect skills.
These are some of the features available in JamSpeak:
* Sign language for musicians to signal changes and dynamics of a song
* Teaches musicians to communicate while playing an instrument
* Exclusively released on iPhone - not currently available anywhere else in the world
