[prMac.com] Wellington, New Zealand - Freeridecoding releases SmartBackup 3.2, a new version of its alternative lightweight backup application for OS X.
SmartBackup syncs multiple source items to a destination folder on an external harddrive, flashdrive or network share, or creates a bootable clone of your system. SmartBackup only copies what has changed after the initial run and is very fast in updating your backup or system clone. SmartBackup optionally archives deleted or changed files in an archive folder during the backup and allows the user to easily browse available versions of a file and restore them with one click.
SmartBackup supports the use of Spotlight Saved Searches to define what needs to be backed up or what should be excluded.SmartBackup can be automated using iCal, Automator or launched in commandline mode and be included it in launchd items or scripts.
