[prMac.com] Holton, Kansas - Wildcat Apps today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of KidEditor: TLP 1.0, their new educational App for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch devices. KidEditor: TLP is an App where beginning readers can easily edit the classic story of the Three Little Pigs. As a reader navigates the story, they drag their finger across the words in the story to see and hear them spoken. If they touch underlined words for two seconds, they can select other fun, built-in words. Any changes made are automatically saved. To have any page read out loud, press the page number.
The App also includes a feature where a child can easily write their own story from words in the story by tapping them on one of ten blank pages from a library of over 400 words. Each page can contain up to 28 words spaced evenly on the page. There is considerable educational research positively connecting reading with writing.
KidEditor: TLP is also the first App that eliminates gender bias. Many children's stories were written with male main characters. With KidEditor, it is very easy to change the characters to either male or female eliminating gender bias.
