[prMac.com] Santa Cruz, California - GoodHumans today is pleased to introduce Compoundee Lite, the ad supported version of the popular 'Compoundee' iPhone app. Compoundee Lite provides the same features as the full version, but with a modified user interface that allows for the display of advertisements.
Compoundee is an easy to use financial calculator that solves compound interest, annuity, and time value of money problems. With Compoundee, users calculate the future value of investments, or determine the rate, deposits, duration, or initial investment that is needed to reach a financial goal. Compoundee makes these complex calculations easy with a simple user interface that can be used by anyone, with or without previous exposure to financial calculations.
Key Features of Compoundee:
* A clean, user-friendly interface
* Inflation, expense and tax adjusted results
* Amortization schedule
* Solves 5 different investment variables
* Bookmarks for saving and restoring calculations
* Emailing of calculations
* Itemized result details
* Periodic deposits or withdrawals
* History of most recent entries for each input field
* Advanced input fields including day counter, deposit time, and more
* Support for extremely large values and long durations
Users navigate Compoundee by choosing the variable to be solved from the tabs at the bottom of the screen. The most common variable for savings calculations is the 'Total (FV)' tab at the bottom left. When that tab is selected, the input variables displayed in the main part of the screen will be appropriate for solving a standard savings calculation. These inputs include an initial amount, interest rate, compounding frequency, periodic deposit amount, and investment duration. There are also various modifiers next to the numerical inputs that allow for the specification of things such as the frequency of deposits.
Whenever input values change, the results area towards the bottom of the main screen is updated with the new results. The main answer is displayed at the top of the results area, and expense adjusted and inflation adjusted values are displayed below that line. The rates used for those supplementary results can be set using the 'Advanced Inputs' section accessed through the 'More' tab at the bottom right of the screen.
Compoundee also provides an amortization schedule for investments. That screen can be accessed with a right-to-left swipe gesture across the iPhone screen or through navigation buttons at the top of the screen. The buttons at the top also allow for bookmarking of calculations and they also provide the ability to send formatted calculations through email.
* iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad
* Requires iOS 4.2 or later
* 2.3 MB
