[] Sungai Buloh, Malaysia - Independent iPhone's app developer, emirBytes, today is pleased to announce that Blast The Droids 1.0 is live in the App Store. Blast The Droids is a fun and addictive game where you control a tank on a desert site, while being attacked by droids. The goal is simple - to blast as many droids as possible, while staying alive for as long as you can. Blast The Droids utilizes the iOS's famous touch sensors which made the game play of shooting and moving the tank a great ease. Game Center integration ensures players to try their best to beat the highest scores.

The developer commented, "Blast The Droids's concept was aimed to be something simple like a PacMan game, yet in a different scene and circumstances. Instead of ghosts, we have droids. To make things a little more interesting, the droids were programmed to be able to transform into Nuclear Bombs. Blasting different color droids will reward you with different kinds of Upgrade Crates. Collect enough amount of each crates and you will be able to repair your tank, upgrade your tank's weapon, speed, armor and even gain a Super Mode. You also need to harvest crystals and exchange them with ammo when the Carrier Ship arrives. All these make Blast The Droids a fun casual game."

"While most developers would opt for Game SDK such as cocos2d, Unity and so on, we decided to make the game using pure XCode alone. Blast The Droids is an example of how a fun game can be created using only the amazing Apple's XCode SDK! We hope our customers are happy blasting droids everyday."
