[prMac.com] Berlin, Germany - toughtouch has introduced Memotouch 1.0, a game created by Paul and Armin, independent developers. Within one day after arrival Memotouch managed to reach #1 in the trivia category (which is "Kleinigkeiten" in the German store, better translated with "misc" btw.) and #80 in the games category in Germany.
Memotouch is best described as a tiny Simon-style-game that challenges your memory and the speed of your fingers. Nine tiles will flash randomly. Try to follow the sequence and repeat it as fast as you can. Memotouch has two modes: Level-based mode and free mode. Play all 30 levels against the clock and try to reach 3 Stars in all of them. The free mode connects you to Game Center and lets you compare your scores with your friends and with other players around the world.
Due to very fancy graphics and artwork, the downside is the huge size of the game. It's eating up 80 MB, which is a heavy download. The developers promised this to be the first thing addressed in their already finished update. As far as we can see, and first ratings seem to be of the same opinion, Memotouch is a new 5-star-game and will stay around for a while.
* iPhone, iPod touch and iPad
* Requires iPhone OS 4.3 or later
* 79.1 MB
