August 3, 2011 in Software (E)

[prMac.com] Houghton, Michigan - Vortimac Software LLC today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Memoir 2.0 for Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. Memoir is the ideal way to keep a personal or business journal on the Mac.

Memoir 2 features a clean, streamlined interface that allows users to focus on writing. It offers a unique organizational system allowing users to organize their journal via hierarchical folders, an integrated calendar, or a combination of the two. When something is misplaced, the integrated live search feature allows users quickly locate information, wherever it is.

Version 2 is a comprehensive overhaul of the original version. The interface is now cleaner and more logical, making it easier to use and more attractive, as well as being much faster. Memoir's new intuitive interface makes it easy to learn and master. Common functionality is readily accessed via the toolbar, and entry creation is as simple as clicking the main text area.

Memoir 2 features 128 bit encryption, live search, import and export, as well as other unique features such as wiki-links and inter-entry linking.
