[prMac.com] Hamburg, Germany - Independent developer Raphael Wichmannhas has introduced IntelliDrink 0.9 to the Apple App Store. The app is a blood-alcohol content calculator which calculates the BAC on the basis of previously entered information about your age, weight, height, gender and drinking frequency. The idea is to enter drinks as you are having them while the app visualizes the absorption and resorption of your blood-alcohol level.
It has a rich feature set and a different approach for calculating the blood-alcohol content compared to other apps in the App Store. "A lot of effort was put into the calculation algorithm. It considers many human characteristics, the absorption and the resorption of alcohol and the drinking duration. A unique feature is the useful graph, which visualizes your blood-alcohol content over time.", says Raphael.
