[prMac.com] San Jose, California - IL&FS Education today is pleased to announce an update to their iPad science app, Xperica HD. The new version 1.5 has been significantly updated and is now available in the App Store worldwide. The app introduced the concept of interactive science experiments to the iPad. The first version, Xperica HD 1.0, ranked as high as number 2 in the education category in many countries. It also featured in the "New and Noteworthy", "What's hot" and "Staff favorites" in the United States and several other countries.
Xperica HD is targeted towards high school students who study various topics in science. With a visually rich and appealing interface, the app allows the users to play with various elements, which react in a similar fashion to how they would in the real world. To test their understanding, the students can also undergo challenges built into each experiment.
The updated version comes with many changes and enhancements, most based on the user feedback received. Now, in addition to performing the experiments, the users can also learn the scientific concepts behind the experiment. This makes the app an effective learning tool. Minor bugs from the earlier version have also been fixed. IL&FS Education continues its commitment to the app business and it will keep releasing updates offering improved features and new topics.
