Within a one week period Smoke Fingers has been downloaded by over a half a million users.
Smoke Fingers is an interactive app that lets iPhone users draw and blow realistic smoke into their iPhone. Players can select an assortment of smoke colors while entertaining themselves with their smoke designs. Within a one week period, the free app Smoke Fingers became the:
#1 app in the kids' games category in over 30 countries
#1 app in the games category in 15 countries
#1 app in all categories in 5 countries
#2 app in the kids' games category in the US
#8 app in the games category in the US
#10 app in all categories in the US
"Some Fingers has truly gone viral," says Chris Chuter, the creator of Smoke Fingers and co-founder of Retired Astronaut Collective, "there have been no promotions, advertisements, or media coverage to stimulate downloads. The downloads are being driven solely by word of mouth."
