[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Rotorware, a UK independent mobile software developer, launches Jampipe 1.1, a free collaborative audio recorder for iOS devices. Jampipe allows users to upload new recordings or contribute to existing ones by other users, browsing by genre such as 'rock' or 'jazz'. Up to 8 tracks can be layered on top of each other and the resulting 'jam' can be shared on Facebook or Twitter. As Jampipe is a mobile app users can record their ideas wherever and whenever inspiration hits them.
Charlie Fuller, managing director of Rotorware states: "Jampipe makes musical collaboration a one tap process, avoiding the lengthy process of sending separate audio files and manually combining them. It has never been this easy to share musical ideas over the internet."
