[prMac.com] Tokyo and New York - MotionPortrait, a Japanese entertainment solutions company whose technology can instantly convert a picture into 3D computer graphics with interactive 3D animation, is proud to announce HauntedFace and ZombieBooth's occupation of the Harrowing Halloween Apps section in the iTunes App Store.
Due to a lack of media coverage by mainstream media networks, limbo-imprisoned spirits and brain-starved zombies have resorted to spreading their message through Apple devices to show the world that they have an equal right to the basics of survival, and the only difference is in their diet, much like vegetarians. Outraged that they cannot go to the grocery store and purchase food for sustenance, the group now urges iOS owners to join the movement.
Utilizing technology developed by the former engineers at Sony, MotionPortrait have designed HauntedFace and ZombieBooth apps so humans can reflect on a life outside of their own.
In an effort to take a stance against the socioeconomic inequality that plague the lives of zombies and their cohorts, ZombieBooth has signed on to be the official sponsor of the NYC Zombie Crawl that recently took place in the United States. ZombieBooth hopes to spread its vision with like-minded individuals who believe that we can all one day co-exist without society favoring one group over another.
A spokesperson for the movement says, "Zombies and ghosts are willing to co-exist with the human race so long as we provide them with the necessities for survival. They do not want to live a life of violence and they do not want to terrorize humans. Zombies are willing to eat the brains and bodies of the freshly deceased and ghosts are willing to only inhabit bodies for 12 hours each day. It may seem scary at first, but really, they assured us that it will all be okay."
ZombieBooth features over 50 ghastly variations of the undead, each with the ability to blink, scowl, breathe and growl erratically or as the user interacts with them.
HauntedFace for iPhone and iPod touch transforms 2D portrait images into frighteningly realistic 3D ghosts. Bear witness as faces twist, jerk, and collapses into a multitude of ghastly spirits who have been impatiently awaiting for a suitable host to possess.
For both apps, users can save photos and record videos of their chilling encounters with friends on Facebook, Twitter, or e-mail.
