[prMac.com] Manchester, United Kingdom - Xivuh is pleased to announce the release of HealthTrace 1.2.4, the family medical health tracker for iPhone and iPod touch. The product was inspired during a period of chronic illness experienced by the lead developer's young son. He wanted an app flexible enough to include the most relevant types of symptoms, medications and observations as well as being quick and easy to use.
Lead developer, Chris Farrell commented: "We wanted to create a powerful health tracker that was also quick and easy to use. People with chronic health conditions want to get on with their lives without the overhead of managing their condition. iPhone was the ideal platform to create a user interface that is quick and easy to use."
Good communication with healthcare professions relies on an accurate recent history of events, vital for accurate diagnosis and health management. HealthTrace combines flexibility and ease of use with its unique dial based recording interface. A user can personalize it to each family member's unique health profile and create and record new symptoms, observation types and medications.
Combined with tailored reporting HealthTrace allows a user to instantly produce a recent medical history which can be emailed or shared with health care professionals. HealthTrace also has a health diary, daily symptom index, symptom histories and daily summaries of medication doses. Upcoming releases will include synching with the Withings (R) suite of electronic health products, period and pregnancy tracking as well as child growth monitoring.
