[prMac.com] Round Rock, Texas - TouchTomes and Henry Melton have released "Roswell or Bust!" as an iPhone application available in the iTunes App Store. This is the second book in Henry Melton's award-winning "Small Towns, Big Ideas" science fiction series.
The series' first book, Emperor Dad, won the 2008 Darrell Award for Best Novel, and was a finalist in the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. Emperor Dad is also available from TouchTomes for the iPhone.
Of publishing on the iPhone, Henry Melton said, "I'm excited to have my books on the iPhone. Just a tap of a finger to get a good read. It's a whole new way for me to make contact with new readers, and I've been pleased with the way TouchTomes has crafted a simple elegant reader for the iPhone screen. It's a real book in the palm of your hand."
"Roswell or Bust!": Teenager Joe Ferris was raised to help guests - he was third generation in the motel business - but once he connected with mute Judith, they were off on an epic thousand mile road trip through the Southwest, all to help the most unique guests of all: the Roswell aliens stranded far from home since 1947. With the Men in Black hot on their trail, and discovering that the aliens had more tricks up their sleeves than their captors had ever discovered, Joe and Judith have to wonder just who is taking whom on the ride of their lives!
TouchTomes' book reader software features:
* An uncluttered just-the-text user interface.
* A darkened display mode for night reading.
* Animated page turns at the swipe of a finger.
* iPhone or iPod Touch, iPhone OS 2.1 or higher
