[prMac.com] London, United Kingdom - Digital Heaven, one of the leading third party developers for Apple Pro Apps, today is pleased to announced the release of DH_BoxX and DH_ReincarnationX, two brand-new plug-in filters for Final Cut Pro X and Motion 5. Based on the company's highly-respected Final Cut Pro 7 products, these next generation plug-ins are built using Apple's latest FxPlug 2 architecture to take full advantage of GPU rendering and 64 bit processing.
DH_BoxX makes it easier than ever to create split-screen effects. Simply apply one of the eight built-in presets or use the on-screen source and target controls to customise the scale, cropping and position of the footage. Quickly transition between full-frame and split-screen using the filter's unique Box Amount slider.
Dead pixels have long been a issue on traditional video cameras, but with the rising popularity of shooting HD video on DSLRs the problem is becoming more widespread. Manually fixing damaged and often irreplaceable footage can be a time consuming and sometimes near impossible task.
DH_ReincarnationX is the first FxPlug pixel correction filter for Motion 5 and Final Cut Pro X. Up to two dead pixel areas to be intelligently replaced with a single application of the plug-in. The width and height of each area can be independently set and a 'show area' mode ensures only the dead pixels are affected. Three interpolation settings are available to ensure the highest quality result on a variety of footage.
