[prMac.com] Los Gatos, California - PowerProduction Software, a leading developer of visualization software for film and video production, today announced that Martini QuickShot Creator Version 2 (Martini 2) is now available. Featuring new support for Apple Final Cut Pro X, Martini 2 makes it easy for editors to direct additional shots and sequences in Final Cut Pro. With Martini 2's dynamic power, editors no longer need to use black slugs with text explaining what "shot goes here", and this power is now available for Final Cut Pro X.
Loaded with hundreds of classic and unique shot styles, Martini 2's easy-to-use interface guides editors through the quick creation of composite shots. Editors can select a style, such as basic over-the-shoulder shots, two and three shots, and close-ups as well as fight scenes, chase scenes, and other pre-composed multiple shot sequences. Then, editors can choose a location from hundreds of pre-loaded interiors, exteriors, and custom digital location photos.
"We're excited about the compatibility between Martini 2 and Final Cut Pro X with its new editing paradigm. Using Martini's visionary power with FCP X gives Macintosh directors and editors the freedom to create shots and sequences without having to leave the editing environment," says Paul Clatworthy, CTO, PowerProduction Software. "This post-visualization step improves workflow, timing, and overall storytelling. Martini allows you to save time by visualizing in the editing room the most effective direction for the final project."
Martini QuickShot Creator v2 is compatible with all PowerProduction Software products, including StoryBoard Quick and StoryBoard Artist.
