[prMac.com] New York, New York - Qwizful, a new educational app that is focused on helping parents prepare young children for the formal Gifted and Talented (G&T) screening tests, is now available on the iTunes App Store for iPhone users. The free App is geared to help children Pre-K-2nd Grade gain confidence and experience with the multiple choice format that is customary in ability assessments across the nation.
The Qwizful App enables parents to better prepare their children toward taking the formal school admission tests, and track the performance of their children as they make progress.
"Playful learning is all about boosting both confidence and achievements of young children." Said Eylon Javetz, founder of Qwizful.
"There are more children competing nowadays for each seat in citywide Gifted and Talented schools than there are applications to secure a seat in one of the nation's best universities.", continued Mr. Javetz, "and therefore parents are seeking innovative yet enriching and entertaining ways to practices for ability tests."
With some 300 challenging yet entertaining questions, the free Qwizful app and its in-app purchasing options have been priced competitively, as compared to traditional prep tests and tutoring services in this market.
The Qwizful App covers a broad range of subject matters, such as: verbal and pictorial reasoning, analogies, sequencing, math, spelling, vocabulary and time-telling. The iPhone Multi-Touch screen technology, which has been judged by both researchers in academia and parents to be very intuitive and engaging for children, is leveraged to facilitate effective assimilation while delivering an enjoyable learning experience.
All questions accompanied by colorful characters and original audio tracks. The humorous characters were designed to appeal to both young boys and girls, covering familiar themes such as imaginary creatures, race vehicles, princesses and sports. At the same time, graphics has been kept simple to improve concentration.
While the Qwizful App is not meant to determine Gifted and Talented capabilities per se, the new iPhone App does aim to offer a confidence and capability building tool for children, parents and educators.
