[prMac.com] McLean, Virginia - The developer behind the popular math apps NxtApp and NxtApp 4 Kids will donate an iPad to a child with special needs on Thanksgiving weekend via Apps For Children With Special Needs (A4CWSN). During the last App Party hosted by A4CWSN, put together to provide "50 iPads for 50 Children With Special Needs in 50 States", NxtApp discovered the committed community behind A4CWSN.
NxtApp 4 Kids, popular math app for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad is selected by ThinkTanK12 as one of only nine latest and greatest iPad apps. ThinkTanK12, America's largest provider of online education for grades K-12, performed an extensive search for great iPad-optimized apps that are both educational and fun before making its selection.
A4CWSN, a non-profit organization is changing the way children with special needs are able to learn. Gary James, founder of Apps for Children with Special Needs says "The knowledge is inside of these children and sometimes they're not sure how to get it out, and the iPad seems to be able to make that happen a little bit easier. So they do develop a lot quicker."
"We are impressed with the positive impact of iPads in the lives of children with special needs," said senior member of NxtApp development team. Donating an iPad via A4CWSN reflects our commitment to charitable giving. We are encouraging anyone who agrees with this mission to head over to our facebook page and join our community."
