[] FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE is pleased to announce version 4.5 of its "A Better Finder Attributes" file utility.

A Better Finder Attributes has long been known to post-production and digital media producers for its ability to change Finder attributes, such as creation and modification dates.

The recent 4.4 release brought it to a larger audience of digital photography amateurs and professionals alike by adding the ability to batch adjust the Exchangeable Image File (EXIF) time and date that JPEG pictures were shot to compensate for timezone errors or incorrectly set camera clocks.

Digital photo importing utilities commonly set the image file creation date and time to the moment that they were first imported onto the computer's hard drive, rather than the moment the pictures were taken. This makes it difficult for photographers to work with these files in the Finder.

A Better Finder Attributes allows photographers to remedy this by making the image files' creation dates in the Finder match the actual moment that the picture we taken. Version 4.5 adds support for reading timestamps from all major RAW image formats, including:

* digital camera generated JPEG, TIFF
* Canon CRW, CR2, THM
* Nikon NEF
* Olympus ORF
* Fuji RAF
* Minolta MRW
* Sony SRF
* Pentax PEF
* Adobe DNF

The price of A Better Finder ATTRIBUTES is reduced from $19.95 to $14.95 for a single user license. Site licensing is available. was founded by Frank Reiff in 1996 with the aim of producing affordable best-of-breed software for the Macintosh.
