[prMac.com] Seoul, Korea - Mashable announced the finalists for their 5th annual Mashable Awards on Monday, and the Super Junior SHAKE, a rhythm-action music game developed by dooub, Inc. has been nominated as the Best Mobile Game of the Year.
Mashable is the largest independent online news site dedicated to covering digital culture, social media and technology. With more than 50 million monthly pageviews and 4+ million followers across social media, Mashable has one of the most engaged online news communities. The Mashable Awards is a community-nominated voting program that recognizes the companies, people and projects that made the biggest impact on the digital landscape this year.
Mashable's editorial staffs selected the seven finalists for each category, and the Best Mobile Game category honors the readers' choice for the best game designed for play on either a smartphone or tablet. Final voting for the Mashable Awards will close on December 16th, and winners will be announced on December 19th. Voters may cast their votes again after 24 hours.
dooub believes the Super Junior SHAKE has been recognized by Mashable editors with their game mechanism and systems such as "Card Deck System" and "Make Note System." The game separates itself from other competitors by offering the users more things to enjoy. The users can collect cards of their favorite artists, combine them to get better cards, and/or use them in game to receive higher scores. The users also can create their own notes and play. dooub plans to add "Note Sharing Market," where users can exchange their creations and challenge each other.
The developer also announced that a new update will be coming very soon with new songs and improved user interface. SM Entertainment has released a preview of the update on their YouTube channel last week.
