[prMac.com] Liverpool, United Kingdom - Available on both the Mac and the iPad, SCOtutor for iPad is a video tutorial, designed to allow first time iPad users to quickly start using their iPad, as well as allowing more experienced iPad users to familiarise themselves with the new features introduced with iOS5 and iCloud. The tutorial takes the viewer through a full introduction on how to use the iPad, with individual chapters on many of the standard iPad applications and features. The tutorial is suitable for both users of the original iPad and the iPad 2.
The iPad version allows the viewer to view the video tutorial on the iPad itself, with the video being specially formatted to run full screen and at native iPad resolution. As there is no visible cursor on the iPad, the tutorial has been enhanced with visual clues, such as finger taps and swipes, all visible from the iPad screen, to assist the viewer when following along. With full AirPlay support, the tutorial can be viewed on a HDTV via an Apple TV, with full playback control from the iPad.
The Mac version has been created to play in windowed mode, or full screen on the Mac. This allows the viewer to watch the video on the Mac, and follow the tutorial examples, directly on their iPad.
Both versions of this unique application have many innovative features:
