[prMac.com] San Francisco, California - Top App Developers have joined together to celebrate the New Year in the Technology in (Spl) Education APPy New Year Facebook Event and will offer their top apps for free or discounted on January 16th.
WHAT: Many developers are offering their storybook apps and educational games including award-winning apps Penelope the Purple Pirate, Treasure Kai and the Lost Gold of Shark Island, and Pirate Scribblebeard's Treasure with Oscar & Josephine, on sale or offered free for the APPY New Year Facebook Event.
WHO: Top App Developers including PicPocket Books, MyVijann, Mobile Education Tools, Kidoodle Apps, Treasure Bound Books, Operatio, Alexandre Minard, Talking Wizard, Little Bit Studio, BrightStart, StudyPad, and Katz App and many more are participating in this one day APPy New Year Facebook Event.
WHEN: January 16th from 3pm to 8pm PST.
HOW: Technology in (Spl) Education will be hosting the APPy New Year Facebook Event from 3pm to 8pm PST along with Melissa Northway, author of Penelope the Purple Pirate and Karen Robertson, author of Treasure Kai and the Lost Gold of Shark Island. Throughout the event they will be providing information about the developers and their apps as well as promo codes from the participating developers.
Many of the apps participating are Award-Winning, Highly Reviewed Apps. Penelope the Purple Pirate HD has been chosen as Top 10 Educational iPad App by Digital Storytime, Pirate Scribblebeard's Treasure with Oscar & Josephine; winner of the Best Entertainment App Award presented by Adobe and Sony, and Treasure Kai and the Lost Gold of Shark Island was the "Best in Category" Winner for Apps at the New Media Film Festival. We are happy to celebrate the New Year by offering our Top Apps at a discount for all to enjoy!
