[prMac.com] Houston, Texas - Jackson Myers would like to announce the release of SlothCam Webcam Browser version 1.65 for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. This new version of SlothCam introduces two major features for iOS 5 users: iCloud syncing and Apple TV support. Now SlothCam users can sync their favorite webcams between all of their iOS devices using Apple's iCloud service. SlothCam users can also connect their iOS device to an Apple TV and see full sized webcam images broadcast wirelessly to their television set.
SlothCam is an application for viewing live webcams from around the world on your mobile device. SlothCam was previously available as a Mac OS X Dashboard Widget. Since it's release in 2005, it has been downloaded over 100,000 times and has achieved a rating of 4.5/5 on the popular Mac software review site MacUpdate.com.
SlothCam can be used for monitoring traffic cameras, checking on ski and surf conditions, or watching any live webcam in the world that you are interested in. The initial response to SlothCam Webcam Browser has been positive. "The whole idea is that you can add your own webcam URLs and customize SlothCam any which way you want. I enjoyed SlothCam on my Mac as a dashboard widget, now we have it on the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Definitely worth a buck", writes one reviewer on the App Store.
